Building Blocks Music Studio was created to develop a love and desire in younger children to continue their musical education, and transition them into private lessons. This program will give children a foundation for any musical instrument that they may desire. Music has been proven to help children excel in all areas of learning that is why we strive to make learning music fun and enjoyable for all ages.
Class sized will be small enough to give students enough one on one attention that they may need and deserve. An adult is requered to attend ALL classes with the student to help each student achieve all that they can achieve.

Classes Offered
*Classes offered before, during and after school for all age groups.
4 Year Olds
This class is designed for the young begginer. Lessons will go slow, so that the students will be able to stay caught up with everything that is being taught. We will cover rhythm, note qualities, ear training, begining music theory, keyboard activities, and music history all in a 12 week semester.
*Class meets once a week for 45 minutes
5-7 Year Olds
This class is for students wanting to continue in piano lessons. We will cover rhythm, note qualities, basic music theory, ear training, keyboard activities, and music history in a 14 week semester.

7-11 Year Olds
This class is a piano class for students wanting to learn the basics of piano playing. By the end of the 15 weeks the student should have basic understanding of rhythm, note qualities, note reading, basic music theory, ear training, and music history. This class will help the students know what music is about, and help them decide if they would like to continue in piano, or in any other musical instrument.

11 Years Old and Up
This class is a fast moving class for sudents to learn how to play the piano, and music theory. The semester is 15 weeks, and by the end the student will be able to read music, know the note qualities, rhythm, theory, learn about music history, and study ear training.

Adult Classes
This class is for adults who would like to learn how to play the piano. We will cover note qualities, rhythm, note readig, music theory, ear training and music history. This is a 15 week course that will meet once a week for 45 minutes.

Private Piano Instruction
Private Piano Instruction includes Repertoire, Technique, Sight Reading, Ear Training, Theory, Monthly Performance Classes, and Recitals. Each lesson includes a 15 minute theory lesson.
